I bought an HD muffler off of Ebay.

I installed it recently.
It slipped over the Suzuki pipe pretty well, I then used some Napa muffler cement to fill the space a little.
I noticed that the orig. muffler fit over this big brass or copper ring, I couldn't get the HD pipe to fit over it, it was too small.
Before I installed it permanently I did a test run with it. Wow is it loud!!!
I'm a pretty up-tanding citizen, so I didn't want it to appear to my neighbors that I was some kind of Bad Ass.
So I bought some muffler packing and stuffed it in there. I bought it from a local Kawasaki dealer for $5, the HD place in town wanted $30 for the HD brand of muffler packing.
Now it sounds a little louder than the Suzuki muffler did with the rear baffle removed!
What really cool is that because the sound exits from the side, when I make a right turn the sound reflects off of the street upwards!
Now I'm in search of a smaller heat shield, the orig. one is way too big now.
